WWI Field Medic Pouch, as issued by the Hospital Corps. It is a nice khaki canvas pouch, with leather trim, and leather front closure strap. It is marked with a medic "Red Cross", and the fromt is marked with the Caduceus next to A. C. 1 over 38. This most likely indicates the unit that the field medic was deployed to. The underside of the top flap is marked HOSPITAL CORPS
